Download DJ Devastate’s new funk/fusion mix, Movement Mixes Chapter 3, “The Floor”. This last mix in the three mix series takes you back to the 1970’s. Do you like fast funky rhythms? Do you like to get down on the dance floor? Then make sure to get this mix right away. This is the last mix in the three chapter mix series from Swedish DJ Devastate. The series consisted of funk/fusion music that inspired the “Movement/Silence” album project that is out on BBE Records. The trilogy of mixes flows through various soundscapes that could be found in a club. Like: The Bar, The Couch & The Floor. Enjoy!

Soul Mafia, Joell Ortiz and Krussia are kicking off a contest for all interested video directors/producers to submit a filmed, animated, or otherwise created video for the new international collaboration track “Free 2 Go.” The song was produced by Russia’s Tripmastaz, and features Joell Ortiz; GC and Iam of Soul Mafia and Russian Hip Hop artist Krussia.

Swedish Hip Hop have a lot of English-spoken rap to offer. Here is two young cats from the city of Örebro; “Chipchoppin Order”.

Cheek Eloheim, is the founder of the group, and on the 5 th of April he´s releasing his 7″ single “Drop The Bomb”. I first heard of them when a friend gave me an old cassette with beats..or at least what I thought was and old cassette. It turned out to be a New cassette haha. This is probably the only group in Sweden still releasing those!

Hip-hop’s up and coming King Magnetic makes his 2nd official “street album”, “Everything’s A Gamble Vol. 2″ available today via iTunes and other fine digital retailers. Hosted by Shadyville’s DJ Woogie, the release is packed with underground heavy hitters such as: Joell Ortiz, Immortal Technique, Block McCloud, Sha Stimuli, Termanology, and Slug of Atmosphere. Close associates Godilla, Ali Armz, Reef the Lost Cauze & Adlib also help out on the mic while production duties are handled by Haze Attacks, Astronote and Viktor Ax with additional heat from DC The Midi Alien, Stu Bangas, Misanthropist and even King Magnetic himself.

DJ Kwestion lends his scratching talents on four tracks including the B-side of the 1st official single, “Hip-Hop” ft. Ali Armz and Slug (Produced by Astronote).
