Needless to say, Smif-N-Wessun have cemented their place fairly as one of the groups that were bringing the Golden Era to what it was back in 95 with the release of now Epic Dah Shinin’ LP. Personally I think that release might be the best to ever come out of the Duck Down Squad and it somehow feels that they strive to emulate those glory days by steadily bringing us new material with in a classic format. One part of Smif-n-wessun, namely Steele here AKA General Steele returns with a Blaxploitation inpired release on the new Bucktown USA imprint.
